California is out of balance...

When does CA start start to wake up and realize that our water system is broken? The attached drought map is for 2021, but 2022 looks just the same for Kern County and it's not looking like it will be any better in 2023. The drought must be a sign for California to understand that 95% cutbacks for farms should also mean that there's no additional water for M&I projects either. CA must rethink water priorities and make sure to always give existing farms, businesses and people a much higher priority than new growth. Until CA solves the problem of being dependent on foreign imports of water, we must realize that additional growth and new development is simply unsustainable and irresponsible. Responsible management and growth is the key to a sustainable future.
